Today is the Number 10 reminds us that in choosing life and love we move into a new phase. That is what life is about. Choice. That is what love is about … choice. Every day, we get out of bed and intend to love those in our lives. We choose to work to find new ways to love them and ourselves. We choose to recognize that those in our life are there to teach us lessons that we probably would not be willing to learn unless their actions and behaviors showed us where we were still disconnected from some inner self and feeling.

Notice the type of determination and fortitude that each of you have to get up each day and try again. Give yourself some credit for all the attempts and all those moments when you continued to try even in the face of another moment’s failures.

This is how one builds power and confidence in oneself. Everyone will try. Everyone will fail in moments, but life demands that we keep trying each and every day until our last breath.

We easily forget those moments that we chipped away at something until we finally arrived at a new and better place. But we easily remember our failures and those moments that did not work as planned.

Today, remember how amazing you are and how far you have come. Give your soul a chance to look and see what you have accomplished even after many failures.

To build confidence one needs to be honest about the struggle but also work to remember the good one has done even when others never noticed or acknowledged it.

That is because power comes from taking risks and surviving. Notice I did not say that when you take those risks you succeed. Power comes from knowing that one can trust oneself to stay the course, find a path, and chip away at the goal until it becomes something beautiful and wondrous.
