2 + 1 = 3

Today is the number 3 and so it puts a smile on our face and a bounce in our step. The holidays have a way of doing that but with the number 3 it feels even a bit more satisfying. The coming together of family is always a moment to celebrate. We are so gifted to live in a world where we can have grandparents and great grandparents a part of our celebrations.

Today, you might notice a neighbor that might need a bit of help in some small way. Perhaps they need their sidewalks cleared of snow. Or maybe they need some goodies for the holidays. Do what you can to put a smile on another’s face. When we do for others, we forget our own small and often insignificant problems that our ego loves to magnify. When we focus on loving others instead of worrying, we find that pathways out of depression and towards the hope that is always there if we have the courage to reach out of our own reality and instead lend a helping hand to another.

Today is a day to feel proud of what you have accomplished this year. It is a day to feel as if you can see as you look back the sincerity of your heart regardless of the social pressures that were inflicted upon you. It is a day to compliment how you have kept going and kept your heart honest and sincere. It is a day to celebrate being alive and knowing that what comes next is going to help you in many ways.

Appreciate your life and all the effort you have put into it. Keep your heart open and recognize those that are on your same wavelength.
