Today is the Number 8, which is a number that enhances grief, loss, and sadness. So, for some, this could be a day that seems a bit heavy. I find shifting it out of that pattern is all about remembering to breathe!

That is because this number is associated in Chinese Medicine with the Lung Meridian. It reminds us that it is those emotions that catch your breath and make some hold their breath that need to be more fully explored. That is why the answer could be today as simple as taking long, full, and deep breaths.

Oxygen is a molecule that can be encoded with a variety of information. When we breath in, we allow our body to have access to those bits of subtle information from spirit.

How often did you feel as if the wind had a voice? Or the leaves in the trees were talking to you? Perhaps a bird in a tree was keeping an eye on you and seemed to be trying to tell you something.

The more we breathe in, the more we are able to not just take in life but to become inter-connected to all life.

The number 8 teaches us to stay connected and a part of nature and the many ways that spirit, guides, and angels are attempting to speak with us. Because as we breathe, we remember that we are never alone and that there is always help out there if we remember to remain open in our body, relax and let in the many messages that are attempting to break through our mind and ego.
