Today is the number 9, and we are like a racehorse coming around the final bend. Let yourself be that horse. Hear the crowd’s cheers and taste the victory just in front of you. Allow yourself to cross that finish line, even if it is energetic.

Too often, we race around our karmic tracks, but when one thing finishes, we suddenly feel obligated to rush into the next thing, especially in our modern world. At times, life can feel less like a horse race; instead, it feels as if we are on a gerbil wheel, going in circles but not going anywhere.

It is time to appreciate all we have managed to accomplish and recognize the tracks that will go somewhere and step away from those tracks that endlessly loop but leave us without a feeling of satisfaction.

When we awaken, we recognize that karma is often a choice. A choice is to keep looping in the old patterns and behaviors or to actively identify the dysfunction and take a different approach and track.

It is the realization that it is entirely up to us to make the changes to take us away from dysfunction. To change our karma, we cannot wait for others to awaken, see us, forgive us, or apologize.

Today is a day to walk away from our old patterns continuing our karmic suffering. We are souls learning to take responsibility for our actions. Karma is how the universe keeps reminding us that our old way will not work.

Life is too short to wait for others to get it. It matters that we get it and move on.
