1 + 7 = 8

Today, see this number 8 … as a pattern of waves that require us to roll with them. For some, the conscious state of those waves can be difficult to work with and so, this might be a day to take a nap and allow your subconscious to drift into alternate zones. Sometimes it is better to allow the angels and guides to work with our subconscious when our left brain is not fully engaged in the daily routines that can be a distraction.

It is a day to escape into a book and allow new adventure into other realities. Such things can give insight into what really matters.

I love the Pema Chodron teachings of “Sitting in the Shempa”, this is a teaching that allows you to be present and to sit with what one is feeling. Learning to not push feelings aside … but to observe them objectively is a great lesson I learned in a profoundly deep way since 2010. While some people seek to have peak experiences, I find what is more valuable is to seek inwardly and to recognize that the treasures within are so very profound if one is brave enough to dive deep into those places that matter to us and will define our life and imprint on our souls forever.

Live a life with no regrets. Live a life that is about kindness and concern for all. Live a life that intends no harm to anyone regardless of how they act towards us.

We can only change the world by example. We can only live our life from a place of truth that comes from an internal center that is unwavering in its goodness and kindness.

Look at angry people as just souls haunted by hate. It is a type of negative possession that is not easily shifted. Nor is it your job to save others from their own karmic lessons.
