1 + 9 = 10

The number 10 reminds us that each soul holds power to change. Change is a choice and resisting change will pull the number 10 down into the number 1. Humility (the number 1) is a path that shuns the trappings of the world of attachment. Power (the number 10) with humility (the number 1) is how we learn to embody compassion.

We live in a world that allows power to be king. That polarity causes subjugation and servitude to those deemed less than.

I hold in my mind a world that is more fair and just. I believe in a world that can bring balance between the dark and the light. I believe we can birth leaders of great power and the humility to understand when the people suffer.

Today is a day to see both inside your own being. Remember that the Dali Lama’s power comes from his compassion. Power without compassion only leads to the creation of more karma.
