There are moments when you can feel things boiling below the surface. There are moments when you know that you are feeling something but are not sure what it is. Today might be one of those days. While we seek answers to problems, know that there are no simple answers because our current problems are very difficult.

The number 7 sees what needs to be done and recognizes that there are so many parts to the puzzle and so many details to manage to complete the puzzle that we probably need to put things down on paper and make a concise plan. That way no essential parts are missed in the long journey that is the creation of something beautiful, wonderful, and magical.

Today, we need to remember that great things take time. Notice those things that have touched you the most. Was it a temple in Egypt perfectly positioned to the stars? Could you feel the magic of that spot and how carefully the architect had diligently worked to make something that would stand the tests of time?

Perhaps it was a painting whose image captured some timeless beauty and grace. Did the attention to detail make you marvel at the mind and hands that worked so carefully to make it?

My favorites are often in nature. Ancient redwood groves that have stood for over a thousand years, elegant and stately, patient and powerful. They remind me that aging does not have to be something negative but something to cherish and to show that when you can move slowly, eventually even the smallest tree can become something of wonder.

This is the number of time. Not the type of impatient time that humans crave but the type of time that is ancient, eternal, and that can catch the breath.

While our minds often need something to do to feel important and to have value. Today, remember that it is not what you do but who you are that really matters in the long run. And while this life might be short or long, the soul that inhabits that body is eternal and will continue to grow in wisdom and compassion throughout time.
