Today, we enter the energy of the Number 4. I have learned that peace (the number 4) takes consistent practice. Those that perpetuate war see the suffering of humanity as a commodity that they bargain with. It is always the people that suffer the most. It is always the land and nature that suffer the most.

I see that there is a process with humanity that tries to evolve through and past the violent emotional reactions of our reptilian brain to eventually see that the only sane path is one of conscious awareness around being mindful of these negative choices and to choose to be not a reactive and violent animal but a person who is safe with others and listens to the problems while seeking solutions that work for everyone.

Some people see neutrality, as a type of passivism. But it is not. To be passive, one turns a blind eye to what is happening. Choosing to ignore and thus avoid conflict. When one is neutral, we see everything but make a conscious choice to be a watcher, to stand in the middle, to observe the patterns unfolding and to do what brings more balance rather than make choices that escalate problems into creating greater and more dangerous conflict.

Today, observe and pretend you are a fly on the wall watching things unfold. Do not allow your emotions to throw you into a reactive state of mind. Such a state … almost always ends badly.

Listen, observe, and keep your heart soft. That does not mean you are not supposed to protect your heart. It means that you honor your heart more than anyone’s opinions or projections.
