1 + 8 = 9

Today, we enter the completion Number 9. On one level this number is a strong reminder to listen closely to your intuition. On another level it is a line in the sand that you will feel you need to cross.

We are making a turn towards who we want to become not what others what us to be for them. There are moments when we must put ourselves first and trust our gut. This is not a number that wants to think things through … but instead follow a feeling thread that will lead us out of the mazes in our mind and become what we truly came to be.

While our feelings are transitory and cannot always be trusted. It is important that we learn to follow those altruistic feelings and those things that come across as caring and concerned for the well-being of everyone.

But in that process we have to be careful to not give too much away and have nothing left for ourselves. Compassion is about caring for others as much as ourselves. Giving without balance in our own body is just another expression of co-dependency.

Today, fill your cup first and then know you will have enough for others. And when you begin to feel drained, take a break, a pause, or give yourself food or a chance to regroup.

Remember, our actions teach others about how to care for themselves as well.

Those that expect you to give until you have nothing left are parasites and do not really care about you.

Today, notice if you are a person that cares more for others than others seem to care for you. If that is the case, it is important to restructure your world around people who have to offer … what your souls needs and desires.
