Poem – All That Is Required

The most wonderful moments come when I don’t think but instead feel.
I know what my heart wants, and I move towards things that appeal.

I go against the grain of those that hold fear.
I don’t really care because something magic is near.

I have learned that my head is not always right.
I know that fear will only bring me more fright.

That is why I lean into what is past my mind’s illusions.
I don’t trust thoughts that have exclusions.

I know that love is the connection and the glue.
I know that hope is the feeling when things are new.

I know that we have to find a way past the hate.
I know that trust and freedom is the only valid gate.

Listen with your heart as it knows the way.
Don’t over think or allow thoughts that dismay.

Trust the process that will lead you towards acceptance and joy.
Life is filled with adventures and many toys.

Listen to the wind as it calls your name.
Follow those things that show you are an amazing game.

Know that there will be moments when you doubt the trail ahead.
But you just need to trust every time you get out of bed.

That this day can bring something magical and new.
And all that is required is for you to be … you.
