Besides They Would Never Listen

As the weather progresses and the heat cools down.
I watch and wait for any sign or sound.
I know that what once was … can be no more.
I have no desire to even the score.

Too many have learned how to blame and hate.
Too many react and believe it is too late.
But we are a world that learns from our mistakes.
And the worst ones made, tend to force a remake.

I know that in my heart I can work my way around.
The obstacles that others demand because of a clown.
I know what is right deep down in my heart.
And laws of fools only make me more smart.

I will do what I know is needed in each and every time.
I will be kind even when others want to demean and slime.
I have to live with myself and become who I was meant to be.
I don’t need their laws to help me see.

That is because most rules and laws are hiding a deeper truth.
Something that most cannot discover from their inner sleuth.
I watch as the people are all riled up in pain.
Just to satisfy those in power who have everything to gain.

Karma will always come back around.

In ways that surprise and in ways that astound.
I am not in charge of what others need to do.
Besides they would never listen to the likes of me or you.
