Poem – Let Love Make You More Kind

Take care of your heart.
Take care of your soul.
Life can be hard.
But don’t let it make you old.

That means keep alive,
That inner spark.
Know that there is more to life.
Than living in a city park.

Nature is alive.
To give something back.
Nature is more interesting
Than some computer hack.

To be alive you must live more,
Than just in your mind.
Experiences will give you.
Trees and mountains to climb.

I don’t want to waste,
One precious breath.
I have much to do.
Before I reach this life’s death.

Pick up a book and go wandering outside.
Sit by a creek and just let time pass you by.
Let the stories from the book, open your mind.
And allow the love inside to make you even more kind.
