Poem – Magic Reminds Us To Play

Magic followed me home and at first, I did not see.
That it tagged along and had no intention to let me be.
That magic knew that I had gotten stuck in a rut.
It was time to crack life back open … just like a nut.

Magic does this and it has a positive plan.
Too often we get stuck in boredom on the divan.
But today, magic decided to stir things up.
It was time to stop being such a grownup.

Play is the energy that is at the base of all change.
Magic loves to entice and rearrange.
So now, nothing is going according to plan.
And now my goal is to not look like a madman.

We can get upset at the curves life throws.
Instead, let the magic out and go fly with the crows.
I prefer to see the magic that arrives every single day.
Remember that life is grand and remember to play.
