Poem – Nature

The winds just warmly blew through the trees.

The mosquitos are not out, but instead, are the bees.

The ravens wing by and play in the breeze.

The cats are shedding and making me sneeze.

But it is these moments that are what life is all about.

In nature, I let all of who I am hang out.

Nature does not care if you have makeup on.

Nature is only interested in your song.

It listens closely to see what you have to say.

It wonders if you dare to find your way.

She speaks in whispers that are filled with light.

She inspires us to try and to occasionally fight.

There is passion in life that has the potential to change.

Change us from loss and into more gain.

The question always is, “Will you give life a try?”

I know my answer, and I will always seek a way to fly.
