Poem – Playing by the Rules
I see so many … “fitting in.”
They try to crawl into another’s skin.
I have never wanted to be like anyone else.
Nor would I want even an enemy, to fit on someone’s shelf.
What is this need to socially belong?
Conforming to the rules can never play our song.
What’s worse are those that do not believe they are fitting in.
When they believe the lies from the mouths of demented twins.
I see intelligent people think they are free when they are falling in line.
They bit the hook and now worship on a demon’s shrine.
But they are blinded by the false light that the demon bleeds from devoted souls.
And nothing one can do will stop them from falling into hells holes.
We cannot save someone from their own karma or denial.
And I will not walk them down this distorted isle.
I have never been a person who could blindly condoned harm.
To any other person that some leader points to in alarm.
Those that are awake, do what their soul intends to do.
Those still asleep, follow the paths of the untrue.
Regardless, those choices will lead to wisdom in the end.
And those that were asleep will recognize their world of pretend.
