Poem – Release the Wild

Have you watched a Lion bathing in the sun?
Have you watched a cheetah determined to run?

Have you heard the birds warn of the coming storm?
Have you discovered that your true self is beyond that norm?

Listen to the heart as it pounds inside your chest.
Reminding you that you need to run as much as you need to rest.

Listen to your soul as it calls to your human side.
Reminding you that you need to let go and no longer hide.

The world is hungry for who you are inside.
We need all the wildness that you carry to become a landslide.

The world is filled with often too much pain.
You are a healer of this world when you break that chain.

You are not here to fall into the cracks.
You are here to do amazing acts.

Let the Lion inside your soul.
Show you the power of that hidden goal.

Let the cheetah inside finally have room to run.
Let her show you that she is more powerful than a gun.

Become the bird that warns of the storm.
Because she knows that it is her job to inform.

And always remember the light that you are inside.
Never let anyone take that from you or make you feel as if you need to hide.

It is time to awaken and the sisters gather together now.
It is not about whether others will condone or allow.

We have danced eternally in the light and in the dark.
It is time to dance on the streets and in the parks.

This is the moment that you have waited so long for.
Let us gather the feminine forces from every shore.

And together we will put back into place what has gone astray.
Then the people will come because they are desperate to play.

The heavy hearts are ready to heal.
The power of the feminine is stronger than steel.

Together we can wash these mountains of hate away.
And bring back the love that had gone astray.
