Poem – We Are A Tapestry

We are all a tapestry, tattered and old.
We got that way by being bold.
We did not shy away from getting into the mud.
We knew that no one is a pure blood.
We are all the creative mixture of the goddesses making.
Most are a cake that is still baking.
Live a life filled with color and risk.
Never be satisfied being a compact disk.
There is so much beyond what you think you want.
Following only your mind will leave you pathetic and gaunt.
Trust that wildness that has to run.

Learn to laugh and have too much fun.
Because before you know it you will be at St. Peters Gate
And then you will not have the power to change your fate.
