Poem – Celebrating Beltane

 

In the heart of blooming spring,

When nature dons her vibrant wing,

Welcome to our joyous festival as we take flight,

Beltane, heralds the coming of abundant light.

 

As the sun ascends into the sky above,

Beltane whispers her secrets of love,

Gathering dreams upon its fiery pyre,

Igniting passions with her celestial fire.

 

Upon the emerald carpet of the earth,

We are the tapestry of colors, this vibrant rebirth,

Flowers dance in the playful breeze,

Their fragrance a symphony that does not cease.

 

Underneath the ancient standing stones,

Where spirits dwell, in timeless zones,

We weave ribbons, as a sacred art,

Binding souls, remembering we are a part.

 

Drums resound with rhythmic beats,

Feet grace the ground in joyful feats,

Spiraling bodies, entwined and free,

Celebrating life’s sweet harmony.

 

Beltane, the merging of earth and sky,

Unveiling the beauty that makes us sigh,

Rekindling fires of passion and desire,

Elevating our spirits to go higher and higher.

 

Let us rekindle our inner flames,

Release our fears, shed all our chains,

Embrace the sacred, the wild, and the free,

In the fertile embrace of Beltane’s glee.

 

With laughter and mirth, let us rejoice,

Lifting our voices, let us reclaim our voice,

Weaving a tapestry of love and delight,

Beltane blesses us, on this sacred night.

 

So, dance in the moonlight’s soft caress,

And feel the earth’s heartbeat, no less,

This day blesses us all, so let us dance and yell.

For Beltane’s magic weaves a potent spell.
