Poem – The Flow of Nature’s Watery Hand

Poem – The Flow of Nature’s Watery Hand

In the northern California coast, filled with beaches and sand,

Exists wild places where the waves crash and expand.

The broken coastline, is pristine and rocky,

Where great rocks in the ocean, bird filled and chalky.

The curvy roads, like a woman’s body wild,

Are still free, expansive, and undefiled.

Great seabirds have their nesting and speckle the land.

With the white guano brighter than the sand.

As the fog rolls in, I feel this mysterious dance,

Heat from the land, invokes a sensuous trance.

I am caught between the earth and sky.

In that dreamscape nothing feels awry.

Earth and ocean, breathing as a symphony of life,

Their union is ancient filled with a type of balanced strife.

Wild beaches, are adorned with seaweed wreaths and garlands,

Witness the demise of jellyfish, tentacles gone and bodies hardened.

There is an ebb and flow of desire in every grain of sand,

Nature’s passion, ignited by the touch of a powerful watery hand.
