1 + 8 = 9

Today, look to those things that allow you to feel complete.
Look to those things that you know you need to beat.

Life will come and go in a blink of an eye.
Notice those choices that eventually made you cry.

We grieve for those that we did not protect or save.
We grieve when we allowed others to misbehave.

We regret those choices that caused more pain than joy.
We regret not recognizing when evil used us as a ploy.

The number 9 is a moment to reflect.
Not from a place of pain or regret.

But from a place that is honest and true.
Only with that … can we become brand new.

Today with the number 9, we are asked to be honest in what we need. To be complete we all need to find what is most important to us moving forward.

I find that resolution comes with acceptance. Acceptance is not about giving up but about allowing in the truth of the moment.
