2 + 2 = 4

Today we enter into the number that wants peace and harmony. But at times peace has to be fought for in order to be maintained.

When we are at peace, we are better equipped to handle sudden and unexpected situations. And our choices are wiser and filled with compassion.

Peace and authenticity go together. When we are being real and our authentic self, we are more naturally at peace with the world.

I like to think of the number 4 as those attempts as a ballet dancer to do a perfect balance on point. It takes a lot of practice to learn how to hold a position on a point shoe as the world is spinning through space and rotating around its axis. It takes feeling into each and every muscle as they pull and release to keep that position steady. It takes much practice to learn how to breathe into each moment and make constant adjustments.

Our world is like that precarious balance right now. We need to be aware of all the moving parts that need to push and pull against each other in order to find a new place of balance.

While we are going to fall off that point shoe many times, we will have to keep trying.
