4/19/2025 is the number – 23
4 + 1 + 9 + 2 + 0 + 2 + 5 = 23
2 + 3 = 5

Today we enter into the number 5 and it is a day to lay on the grass, roll down a hill, and sit in the sun. It is a day to remember that the earth is our mother and that without her we would not be here.

Humanity so easily forgets and has a sense of arrogance around its superiority. But nature will be here long after humanity is done living in this reality.

Today is a day to fall in love with your life. Why not? What do you have to lose? You might have everything to gain.

When we appreciate the simple things we discover that more is not always better. More requires more energy and money to maintain.

What would happen if we allowed the land to just be? The weeds to grow. The land to find its own balance.

In many ways, I try to do that with my land. Leave it as natural as possible but to do what is necessary for fire protection and prevention. I limb up the redwoods so that fires cannot ladder up as easily. I clear brush that would enhance the fires and I leave the great trees to their natural state.

In doing this I find that it allows me to be one with the land and to find my own places of peace and balance. It is time that we learn to work together for the greater good not to line the pockets of the rich.
