4 + 2 + 9 + 2 + 0 + 2 + 5 = 24
2 + 4 = 6

Today is the number of the Hermit. This is the number of caves and those wild places of silence that allow us to heal, grow, and find where we belong in this world.

This is the number of introspection, meditation, self-awareness, spiritual seeking, and going within to find the answers.

The only place I have found answers is deep within. Those moments when I touch the silence with my heart and wisdom suddenly surfaces from the murky waters of life.

The other places that I find that deep self-awareness is in raw nature. Those types of places untouched by the hands of man. Those places where the wildness still thrives and where the land still has its voice.

What can you do today to preserve those wild spaces that are now being threatened? What can you do to keep wildness alive in your garden or on your land?

Personally, I try to limb trees up and clear brush on the ground so that the fire danger is less. I try to do ceremonies and celebrate the land, the air, the water and the creatures that co-exist with me there. I do what I can to feed the birds and give safe spaces for the wild things on the land.

While we cannot do everything, we can do small things that allow land to regenerate and invite the magical creatures and energies back onto the land.

When the land is at peace, I find that I too can more easily at peace. Do not let the magical power places be taken from our children and grandchildren. Help preserve what has given us life and continues to give us peace.
