Rejecting Opinions in Order to Learn

I listen to the stars, but I do not know the time.
I hear the voices of the ancestors and those past their prime.

Respect is an action that carries compassion.
It remembers that this moment does not require reaction.

Each moment asks you to believe your heart.
That is how we shift the tides and forge a new start.

I will not be silent nor will not rest while hate has a strong hold.
I do not understand those that hold so much fear that they refuse to be bold.

Courage is not born from moments of ease and grace.
Courage is born from turmoil that comes face to face.

In that moment, you can collapse or make another choice.
That other choice is your courage finding a voice.

I can forgive anyone if they come to me with a reformed soul.
I do not need to be right, as spiritual awakening was always the goal.

But growth comes from a clarity that moves in.
It must get past the blocks of the ego and get under one’s skin.

Nothing is more precious than to see a soul make a huge turn.
Then take the wheel of their life and rejects opinions in order to learn.
