Astrology for 12/23/2023

We are in a place of deep appreciation for what we have and our families with the Moon in Taurus. The attitude of gratitude is strong, and this is perfect to begin our holiday celebrations.
Mercury is still in retrograde, but it moves into Sagittarius today. While the retrograde lasts till the first day in January, Mercury will be in Sagittarius until the 13^th of January 2024. This adds to our feelings of positivity and optimism for seeing friends and family. We want truth to prevail, justice to be served, and outcomes that promote fairness. We will see if that actually pans out over the next few months.
If things feel haphazard, you would not be wrong. With the retrograde motion of Mercury, things just do not seem to line up easily and all things seem to bring more effort rather than less. Seems we need to check and recheck any upcoming plans and trips. Best to be slightly ahead of potential problems.
What people are feeling is a desire for life’s chaos to slow down for the holidays. But with the Moon and Venus in opposition, all efforts seem to complicate matters. That is why going in the direction of family and the familiar, at least seems to support potential peace and contentment.
