Astrology for 12/26/2023

Did you feel that Full Moon coming in just before Christmas? I feel them either before, during, or after. This one I felt before. But today, with this evenings Full Moon in Cancer, it brings our awareness to a new level. Seems we are letting go of old illusions and we have to figure out how to notice those patterns that are outdated and currently nonsense.
It is a day to not just nurture your family and friends but yourself as well. It is time to face the music around health and aging issues and do what is necessary to help your body make the necessary turns.
We tend to not notice the body until it is having problems. And all life is about cycles.
In some cycles certain things work well … until the body needs something else. Learning to listen to the body as it calls to the necessary shifts that it requires … is a humbling experience.
Listening requires us to let the mind know that it is not always right. Listening requires us to humbly submit to the truth in that moment.
And the truth is that none of us are immortal. We will all have moments so full that they require us to expand our container in powerful and profound ways.
We all will have moments that it seems as if things are breaking down and we have to radically shift our approach.
And this is what we need at times to soften our hard edges and discover that we are not ever completely in control of our reality.
We are impacted by many things, people, and situations in our life. All of those things cause slight adjustments in our reality.
Today is another one of those. Be kind to yourself. We need to change our approach or how we do things.
It might require a bit of a learning curve but if we approach it with the wonder of our inner child’s mind, it will integrate easier and faster.
Saturn and Jupiter will connect and harmonize with the Full Moon, and we will notice that we are finding new ways to be resourceful and through that we will be better able to find a balance.
Today, is not the day to try to figure out all those new things about your electrical or mechanical gifts from Christmas.
It might be hard to focus or follow instructions. Just remember that what we need to know will come to us when we are really ready.
Try to keep things simple. It will feel as if many things are uniquely odd, and we just do not easily see those places of self-deception.
What is clear is that the old roles are not working, and we do not have the new ones in a place in a way that they feel organic or smooth.
The Mercury retrograde backs up to square Saturn, and it will do it again on January 8^th (with Mercury finally going straight). We might notice an old conversation seems to reoccur.
Chiron goes still in the sky and will finally move ahead after its retrograde pattern. This opens up more vulnerability and some things will demand that we address them after many months of avoidance.
Clarity will come.
Just allow it to take the necessary time.
Discomfort may seem to be the theme for today. But that is also necessary for us to do what needs to be done.
