Astrology for 4/15/2024

The energy of the Moon flows first today into Cancer and then it will traverse this evening into the dramatic sign of Leo. But before then … we have a square with the Aries Sun and it is also the First Quarter of the Moon. We are compelled to take a turn and so expect a few obstacles in the process. While we are motivated for change, the steps that lay ahead seem ominous and scary. Seems all that Aries energy bound up with those eclipses is hitting a dangerous turn and many will feel as if we are on an edge that feels more like a cliff.
In our world, there are certain souls that seem to not want to back down from dangerous positions and that pushes the volatility in our world to new and not recently experienced levels. Currently, we can feel strong cosmic forces doing a huge dance of push and pull.
With the Moon moving into the powerful sign of Leo this evening I am afraid that those issues are going to escalate.
Chiron is doing a line dance with Mercury, and while conversations want to be about healing and positive movement, we must remember that Mercury is retrograde and with that energy, things are going to get misconstrued and twisted.
For some it can feel as if there is a twisting of a knife rather than pulling it out. To me, all this feels very touchy-touchy, meaning that feelings are strong and on the surface. Backing down does not seem to be an option. We are more attuned to looking at the past as we try to understand our next steps. Perspective seems to be lacking or skewed with all the emotional responses coming at us. The old problem has clearly not been healed and it matters not if those communications are honest and sincere. There is too much water under that bridge, and it is flowing at flood levels. It is feeling as if words that might be able to gain any reasonable outcome … are foolish.
