Astrology for April 20, 2025
The Moon is in Capricorn until this evening, at which time it moves into the progressive and changing sign of Aquarius.
We are in the last quarter of the Moon once it moves into Aquarius as we have a Taurus Sun. This is a moment to review and reflect on what matters. Not to push for the new thing but to embrace what we have right now.
Uranus and Venus are in a sextile and while we are inspired to be more courageous, it is a time to communicate with others and to put some plans into order but not expect great movement yet.
Romantically we might be drawn to something unusual and very different, while different people expand us and open us to new things, it is not something that may work in the long run. Such souls are great for growth but not necessarily for comfort. We are in a time when many comforts are being taken away and we are perhaps not really ready yet to live with someone so radically different than us.
It is important to see beauty in all things. Especially those things that are so very different but be careful and approach those things with a curious perspective and don’t leap before you look.
Mercury and Pluto also sextile and while this is good for recognizing the many edges we are on, know that for those the most in denial, seeing with a new clarity can be very disconcerting. Wisdom dictates that those with the most awareness need to sit back and wait. The surface illusions will need to break down much further before many will wake up. And this tremendous breakdown is what will be required to do just that.
Mars and the Sun are in a square and this can generate agitation and anxiety. Some may feel as if they must take action right now. But directing such powerful forces is going to be very challenging and the potential for reactive actions and defensive postures is going to be high. This is an aspect that will not allow for any compromises or reasonable negotiations at this time.
Those that are wisest will know that this is a moment for breathing and waiting.
What we can do is take care of our own lives and protect those we love the most. A crisis is looming, and we are all going to have to weather this storm together.
