Astrology for August 4, 2024

The New Moon in Leo is all fired up and ready to rumble. There is a fresh energy coursing through our souls, and we are excited to see what it can manifest. The feeling is “Nothing can stop me now!”

Romantically, this New Moon it is a powerful aphrodisiac. There is nothing like a bit of wild and enthusiastic confidence to make the dances of sexuality much more interesting. Today is more like a playfully intense growl. If someone is ready to play, then it is going to go dynamically into expressions of passion.

We are feeling accomplished and happy for everything we have been able to do over the past 8 months. Since January, much has changed and while at moments, it was a wild ride, it is also finally beginning to make sense in a sort of round-about way.

Just know that this astrology is not remotely done with us. This ride has even more thrills and spills to show us. Keep your seat belt fastened and keep your hands inside the car. This ride is about to get very interesting!

But today, we are not worrying about what may come but instead are rebuilding our confidence and rekindling our sense of self. And it feels very good.

We are in the Fire sign of Leo, and we are also aligning the other fire planets, Jupiter and Mars with the air incentive of Gemini. Said simply, “We are on Fire!”

That air of Gemini and Aquarius are fanning the flames of passion and change, and they are coming together and unifying the forces so that nothing will stop us now.

Oh, I know that some will try, but this is energy we have been waiting for. And finally … after a decade plus, of density and dogma being forced down our throats, we are finally seeing a clearing and a new beginning.

Neptune and Venus have taken the blinders off, and the bright light of truth can be shocking to those that were living in the shadows. But now, we cannot turn away from what we so clearly see.

That harsh light (to some) can make them feel insecure, confused, and indecisive. For others … it can breed a fierce rage that wants to drastically alter what is already … naturally unfolding. I hope for common sense to have more power over those festering in delusions.

From this point on, with the Mercury retrograde looming and Venus finishing up and at the last degree of Leo, it is best to wait before making any big decisions. Once Venus goes into Virgo later today, we feel a bit more practical and sensual at the same time. Venus will be in Virgo supporting us in dealing with the details till the 29^th of August. It shifts just after the Mercury retrograde finishes up.

But Venus in Virgo gives us more enthusiasm in our work, and we will find that we have pride in our accomplishments and a great sense of satisfaction.

The details matter for the rest of this month but don’t put too much mental effort into figuring it out. Keep it simple. Keep it real. Keep it passionate. And keep your heart open.
