Astrology for January 2, 2025

The Moon in Aquarius continues to support us in trusting the flow and knowing that there is a higher plan in motion. It continues to hint that we are going to have to make some difficult choices as we turn into the Aquarian agenda and embrace the lessons that will be required from all of us.

Venus goes into Pisces and will be influencing us emotionally and spiritually till February 4^th. Venus will retrograde and bump back into Pisces March 27-April 30, 2025.

Venus in this position intends more kindness and care. But during this time, we may feel as if there is quite a bit of confusion because of suddenly seeing overt deception that will take place in our world under this influence.

Old boundaries and borders will be shattered and the places that used to define us will break down.

While Venus loves to be in Pisces, it is utilized best when we devote to a project and our families. When we give and are willing to help others in small but meaningful ways, we gain ground. It is not advisable to spend a lot of money during this cycle. Watch your budget, pay off the bills and don’t take big risks.

We are prone to want to lean towards artistic expressions and doing things that will allow us to inspire others or feel inspired ourselves.

Jupiter and the Sun in Capricorn will quincunx and we feel pulled back and forth as we seek alternatives to situations that seem to not fall into place. Expansion right now feels like you are a little chicken inside an egg … trying to get out. It takes a lot of effort but that drive to be more fully alive is needed to find the courage to face what is yet to come. The safety of the old shell is rejected in favor of discovering what is just beyond the shell that protected us as we long to find greater freedom. Freedom does not guarantee anything. Freedom is not safe. Freedom is in of itself … the ultimate risk.

Pluto and Mars continue their opposition. This is a powerful force that intends to cause disruption and continued tensions. This is not the time to demand anything from others. It is not time to push or think you are better than another. We notice where people and situations seem to be getting in the way of what our intentions were. What is becoming clearer is that we are going to be required to do all the essential steps. There will be no shortcuts. This is a time that we need to see our frustration and bring about more personal clarity for ourselves. If we cannot understand our own mechanisms, we will never understand others.
