Astrology for June 20, 2024

We move into the summer season of Cancer and so we mark that time of the year when the sun shines the longest on this day.

Early on, before this shift, the Gemini Sun will square to Neptune. Expect a few upsets but know that they are designed for us to spiritual grow, intuitively open, and see something that had been hidden from our awareness. This can make us question our motives and choices. It can make us a bit foggy in our head and confused. We can feel exhausted physically and yet oddly inspired.

We are wrestling with how to make our spiritual self, more a part of our human experience. The trick with all this transition energy is that what we dream of and what we have currently planned might not align. Seems we have a bit more work to do around all of that. A balance between these two wild creatures inside is going to be a lifelong challenge.

Motivation comes from inspiration and so we are seeking those things that allow us to get up and get going on things that matter to us. Our current problem are all the distractions that keep getting thrown our way. We just gain a bit of traction and then some other emergency pulls us off course. Try to not struggle against these forces that clearly have their own mind and agenda.

Astrologically, we have to keep our reactive impulses down and allow our current perceptions to be somewhat odd.

The Sun’s movement into Cancer will last through July 22nd. So, now it is time to focus on home, family, gatherings, and those things that allow you to feel safe and comfortable. Notice that the things you are choosing are for family and those we love the most. But this will also be a time of unique shifts in perspective as we explore our inner reality more willingly.

With the Moon in Sagittarius, we are still seeking those things that are unusual and have a touch of adventure. Going on a Jeep trail or hiking into new territories could feel like a breath of fresh air.
