Astrology for September 10, 2024

The Moon in Sagittarius sextiling to Venus in Libra calls to our communication skills to be better. The most important things in life require us to have an educated use of language so that we can share ideas, communicate our needs to others, give helpful insight without bias or prejudice, and to create the flow of beauty in this world through our words, music, and body language.

Today, that ability is either working well or needing some work. Don’t be afraid to read book … over just going to movies. Books give us the time and depth to understand the complex personality of a character. When we follow the psychological processes of characters that gives us insight into our own mind and emotions. It is through reading that we realize that we are not alone in the world.

So much of the modern world is isolating because it is so specific in nature. We live in a world where people specialize in a subject but end up not a well-rounded person. Because of many factors the focus today is on our communication skills or our lack of them.

The Moon in Sagittarius loves an adventure and that is what books offer us. We seek to explore new ideas as well and how our intellect can explore options so that we can creatively solve our present situations and problems. This brings us a better balance between our mind and our heart. And can give us incentive to find a path to take new actions.

The challenge today is that the Moon and Saturn will square tonight and that makes things a bit dark, gloomy, and disappointing. Remember, the planets are always in motion so don’t contract around anything that triggers you. Tomorrow it will look different.

We might need to pull back from so many things and instead take a pause and see where our energy is most effective and let go of thinking we need to do everything for everyone.

Make yourself a priority. Other things can wait.
