Astrology for September 5, 2024

The Moon in Libra reminds us that nature is balance. And balance is the path back to nature. We are here to learn to balance our human nature and become one with everything.

We live too much in our mind and not in our heart. We do things that cultivate knowledge but do not do the same for compassion. To find peace we must be in the balance between both.

To do that … at times we have to step back, and even sometimes completely step away. We need to reclaim our wild nature and cut loose. We need to put our likes and dislikes to the side and instead embrace things that are new.

I can’t tell you how often someone says to me or even in passing to others, “Oh! I don’t like pickles! They are terrible!” Or, “I don’t like that type of thing!” When often in reality they have never tried it.

What they telling me are their opinions and that they are closed to many things. Instantly that limits our sharing and the experiences I can offer them because they are closed rather than open. Open is curious even if one has tried things that are similar before. I find if the universe keeps offering up a similar thing, then that is a clear recommendation that I need to be open to that particular lesson and teaching.

I would love it if the phrase, “I don’t like ….!” was banned from all human languages because the more you dislike … the more you judge. And the more you judge … the fewer experiences you will give to yourself. Then unfortunately, the more narrow and limited your reality becomes.

Today notice where you hold back out of fear, opinion, or judgment. And instead of contracting, how about instead give those things a chance and a try. I guarantee you will discover something about yourself that is important and that you need.

We do not realize that it is us, our fears, and the things that the mind makes up … that limit us.

Yes, I know change can be unsettling. Yes, I know that we need to try new things, safely, consciously, and constructively. Leaping off cliffs without looking … is not advised. But embracing the endless possibilities that there is always more … is a good thing.

Venus and this Moon are both in Libra and that alignment is very accommodating and good at listening and finding the correct words that will help others and open conversations.

The asteroid Juno is also in the mix and once again, the focus is on fairness and seeing what brings us together rather than what will only continue to tear us apart.

There is great power in bringing people together for the greater good. The more souls that align with peace as the path … the less power will be given to megalomaniacs.
