1 + 1 + 1 + 9 + 2 + 0 + 2 + 4 = 20
2 + 0 = 2

Today, the number 2 supports us in looking into what makes certain people tick. What is clear is that we can never really understand anyone completely because we have not walked in their shoes or experienced the challenges, wounding, or the good things in their life.

The number 2 gives us a glimpse into understanding that we see only from our own vantage point and our own perspective. We analyze the choices and decisions of others based on our own predilections.

So inevitably, we are going to get it wrong. People are a panoply of emotions, confusing thoughts, and actions. It is impossible to actually know anyone completely. But our mind wants to believe we know many things and that is how we end up making assumptions. Often, we want others to do what we want but that is illogical (as Spock would say).

The number 2 is the number that asks, “Is that actually true? Is that assumption that you thought you really knew, really logical?”

What I have learned in all my years is that there is always more to learn. Pretending to know the hearts of the masses in a society is just not possible. All one can do is use the mind as a tool for the soul. And remember that the mind is insufficient to be able to make accurate choices.

We are not our mind as our mind will lie to us, make shit up, and exaggerate the things it deems as weaknesses.

Today is a day to be wary of the thoughts and beliefs that arise as absolutes. Believing you know and have all the answers is a sure sign that you are not open to having new or conflicting information come into the system.

Living only from the mind is a very boring and limiting place to be. Because the mind exists in the domain of “right and wrong”.

When we recognize the limitations of our thoughts we learn to open to a place where the mind embraces growth, new things, and the process of unlimited expansion that is our intended journey in this limited reality in which we live.

Remember that there is always more than what the mind believes it knows.
