More Astrology for June 2025
June puts the pedal to the metal and those things that have been stuck, and stifling are finally breaking free from their moorings, and it is time to allow our ships to set sail. Knowing the direction is less important and instead we are in the mood to allow the winds to carry us forward to our fate and destiny.
The past many years has been a process of stripping away the things that no longer serve, things that no longer fit into our reality, and those aspects that are no longer are necessary for who we are becoming. Now, it is time to face the mirror and recognize the journey we have been on and how to embrace this new self that is emerging.
We are standing on a new foundation and because of that we are finally making some progress in those directions that matter to us. As we move ahead, doorways are opening, and we are beginning to see why we have had to go through certain experiences.
Jupiter moves into Cancer and for the next twelve months, this exalted position springs us into new things and helps our creative self … find a new voice. We are more interested in doing what opens love and to allow ourselves to shed that old skin of insecurity and move into embracing who we are now.
The shift into Summer happens later this month and we are noticing that there is a liquidity of light that is allowing something inside us to finally find its flow. That liquidity has evolved because we are learning to embrace the darkness within, and give it the validation that it needs and the inclusion that it deserves so that we can become more whole and healthy. There is a power that can be unleashed because of embracing our totality. We cannot help but give permission for this new, empowering, cosmic awakening.
June 6th, Venus goes into Taurus
Venus loves to be in its home sign of Taurus, and this allows us to find more grace and ease with its placement this month. We find ourselves being more encouraging of others and it is a time to carefully look at your financial choices and make better and wiser decisions.
June 8th, Mercury goes into Cancer
Our communication skills take on a gentler approach and we move with more softness and care. It is all about the mind and the heart finding a way to come together. Writing is a great expression during this time. You might have insights that will carry you into a whole new realm.
June 9th, Jupiter goes into Cancer
Cosmically this is the big news this month. We are making a decision to drop our defenses and move into allowing more authentic and honest communications and connections. While we will also want to protect those, we love. We also need to follow our own hearts agenda with grace. We seek to comfort and to become more comfortable in our own skin.
June 11th, Sagittarius Full Moon connects with the dwarf planet, Eris
There is a lot of power pushing ahead with this unusual lineup. This fiery Moon and Eris (the goddess of Conflict, Strife, and Discord) create quite a challenge for us. This pattern intends to shake things up. Eris is symbolized as the power of the feminine that seems insatiable and determined to get what she wants no matter what. Honestly, we need some of this energy to ignite … because the feminine is again being undermined by powerful men and Eris intends to call that out and demand more equality, nurturing and compassionate expressions for all. She teaches (especially the feminine) that is it okay to want to fight occasionally and to enjoy that battle. She reminds us that we need agility and speed to counteract what is currently unfolding. She shows us that there are those in our government that want to handle everything with a sledgehammer rather than finesse and skill. She plainly points out those that want to sow discord and cause conflict. She reminds the feminine that their super-power is to manipulate reality with their powers of conjuring, magic, and intention. She is the voice that says, “All fighting is not cruel and that upset is needed to cause others to draw the line. She invokes us to express the anger that has been being hidden and to recognize that it is time to express it so change can happen. She knows that only through the sowing of chaos and discord can we actually promote transformational change and growth. She is the goddess that warns that the battle ahead is for our very existence.
Clearly, this is a dramatic day that intends to inflame the bold and dramatic in our lives. This is a day where emotions will run hot and we are going to have to be careful in noticing how close to the edge anyone is and to know that one can get scalded by the emotions that are preparing to boil over.
June 15th, Jupiter will square Saturn and Neptune
This aspect impacts us for the rest of this month. Jupiter loves to expand anything and everything. Saturn and Neptune are now both in the fiery sign of Aries. Saturn wants to know where the line is and to have a clear boundary. Neptune wants to wash those restricting boundaries away. But this is a doorway. A moment when we can (if properly aligned) make our dreams come true. What will be clear is how we are going to need to face the harsh reality first and own the unhealthy ways we have been trying to avoid the truth of who we were and find instead a way to not try to outrun the truth but to embrace the knowing and make new choices.
June 17th, Mars moves into Virgo
I expect the enthusiasm in Mars to be tempered by the practicality of Virgo. And that is probably a very good thing. This is a perfect moment to organize that closet and to embrace that new exercise routine. Time to find ways to channel all this intensity into more healthy and engaging ways.
June 20th, Summer Solstice, Sun in Cancer
Summer arrives, and we celebrate this luscious season. Make sure to enjoy all the fresh fruits and taste the sweetness that is in life. For some this is the longest day, for others south of the equator it is the longest night. Today is a day to see the duality that just is and to stop picking a side that you think is light … when you might find the greatest treasures are within the darkest places. What is clear is that we are to celebrate both. Embrace the discomforts in your life because that just tells you where you are on the edge and needing the courage and strength to finally leap. What is clear is that we are being asked to do it with love and tenderness. That is the path that will give you the sweetest fruits.
June 22nd, the Sun will square to Saturn
While for some this may feel hard and intense. Know that it is clearly indicating that you will have to take the reins and guide this powerful force inside you forward. Yes, you will have to do the hard work and get your hands dirty. Don’t worry! You have what it takes.
June 24th, the Sun conjuncts Jupiter
Ideas take on a glowing hue. Possibilities ignite and we believe that we can have the abundance that we are seeking. This aspect can illuminate something critical for us at this time. Jupiter loves to point to the silver lining and to show us that when we have faith and believe in ourselves, we can then have faith and beliefs that help others.
June 25th, New Moon in Cancer
This day favors a more soft and sensitive approach. While emotions are heightened, its feeling is of compassion and feeling abundant. If we work with this energy well, we can get a lot done. Just know that the way we get there will be different and a bit unusual.
June 26th, Mercury moves into Leo
This day takes the drama of this life to a whole new level. Clearly, expressing who and what we are is essential and we are in the mood to share with others. Some may make things more dramatic than is necessary. So, keep it real and don’t let things get too far “out there!”
