Astrology for the Week of February 11-17, 2024

The Sun is finishing up in Aquarius on February 18^th. We continue to be fired up by our original thoughts and creative expressions. We want to not fit into the boxes that others insist we fall into. So much seems stuck in the past and if we are listening to the divine flow of the cosmos we want to move into new perspectives and distinguish ourselves in exciting and innovative ways.
As we move more and more into the Aquarian Age, personal freedoms and the permission to step away from the constriction of the Capricornian mindset becomes essential. It seems that globally we are cultivating a more rational and objective side of our mind over the impulsive reactivity of our emotional nature. And that is a good thing.
With Mars in Aquarius on February 12^th, this adds to the progressive mindset that keeps coming up as a theme. We are going to need very crucial thinking abilities to navigate all the upsets that are primed to push us ahead rather than drag us back into the situations that historically never worked.
Valentine’s Day, Mars will align with Pluto in Aquarius and on the 16^th, Venus will also entre Aquarius. It may feel like a push/pull on many levels. We want freedom from the chaos that keeps trying to distract us off our own path. We know that there are blocks that continue to arise that seem to want to thwart the freedoms that all souls deserve. It seems horribly unfair, and it is.
I have concern that situations may arise to push those holding too much resentment to uncork and lash out during this time when most of us want to focus of love. My suggestion is to make sure you get out into nature to allow Mother Earth to help you destress and calm down.
This Mars/Pluto aspect is not designed to be quiet or to be peaceful. Expect it to instead be a spark that may ignite the resentments of many that now lie like dry tinder on the ground begging to become a burning inferno.
Know that this unfocused and scattered mindset will continue, and we are trying to look at what we are missing and what has been hiding. Bringing dark things into the light is never pleasant.
Fortunately, there is a perfect alignment with Pluto/Venus/ and Mars in Aquarius. This is a powerful force of transformation that will allow us to carefully look at details that are being revealed and to make us look at our beliefs and motivations.
Expect this week to have a few doses of unpredictable patterns that seem to have a flagrant disregard for humanity, life, and our world. This is what we need to create the powerful drive for major social and political reforms that will become a part of this Aquarian Age. We are going to look at those that those that do not fight for the ideals upon which our country was formed and instead want to collaborate with dangerous people who want to break down what is good in the world.
Jupiter in Taurus gives us at least growth and stability in our markets and Saturn in Pisces will keep trying to remind us, where there are those souls who believe that there should be no boundaries for them at all. The lesson continues to be that no one is above the law and that we need to embrace a structure that is more fair and just if we are to embody the ideals up on which this country was formed.
Uranus in Taurus keeps asking each of us to be more responsible for our choices and how those choices impact others and our world. We are changing and our world will also be changing.
Remember that the most trying days this week are February 12-16^th. All of us will need to have more flexibility and decide when enough is enough.
