This Week in Astrology –April 23-29, 2024
This week starts off with a bang with the Full Moon in Scorpio, and the end to the Mercury retrograde, mixed with an overall feeling that the universe is blessing us because we have been willing to dig up the old crap, and look past the illusions that had not given us the whole picture.
This week will feel like a blessing. There will be an almost audible sigh of relief as the truths coming out … allow for the tensions being held inside to be finally released. Shadows and the continued tendencies of certain souls in our reality to act out through familiar behaviors, no longer have the powers they once did. This is a week where we get a chance to acknowledge the inspired growth and healing that has been happening. For those addicted to ruthless control, the reins will appear to be slipping out of your hands.
The Full Moon in Scorpio (April 23rd) has quite a bit to say and a lot to get off its chest. Notice how much effort it has taken to get through the waves of distortions, deceptions, and lies. Truth takes effort and tremendous amounts of determination. The forces for good in the world have regained the reins of this chariot of horses that were hell bent on taking us all off the cliff. This is a personal moment to take back your power and to remove those in our reality that have been intentionally destroying what mattered to us and what had been keeping us safe. Forces are in play that are standing up and taking a stand. It is now your choice to stand with them or to hide in the shadows of fear.
This week does not have huge astrological events happening, but it will allow us to reconnect to our higher purpose and give us insights as to where we were and where we are going.
The Sun conjuncts the North Node and we look out through the eyes that finally understand the new meanings of destiny, fate, and karma. We see that our unique destiny was a part of a shared relationship with others. Together we co-created an amazing journey that has comes to define us and that we now wish to share.
April 25th, Mercury goes direct after a long and tedious retrograde in Aries. The confusion begins to clear, things begin to feel as if they are settling down and over the next few weeks as Mercury begins to inch its way forward, we reclaim our confidence and we decide that the direct approach is going to be our path for the next few months.
April 28th, Mars in Pisces will conjunct Neptune in Pisces. It is time to dream and to decide to enjoy the moment, relish in our accomplishments, and embrace a new possibility. We are eager for a new life, a new perception of ourselves, and embrace the wholeness that is now emerging after so much effort.
April 29th, Venus goes into Taurus. Venus is Taurus’s ruling planet and so it feels right at home in Taurus. We love the sensual reality, and we want to luxuriate in the moment. Over the next few weeks, much will improve; money, love, and work get a grateful boost. We have a chance to deal with those things that really matter to us and make our reality even better.
