Astrology for Today 1/2/2023

The Moon in Taurus for most of the day intends to steady our ship as we cross new and uncharted waters.

The Moon will go into social and engaging Gemini this evening. Just before it does that, it will trine to Pluto bringing us a somewhat powerful realization for any that might have been avoiding the hard truths within their personal sphere.
Choices need to be made and things will change as we will have to look at the quality of our life going forward.
Mercury and Neptune are trying to help us notice what we have been not wanting to address or heal. It is time to awaken to some new and deeper understanding that is arising.

The Sun in Capricorn will trine the North Node supporting us to care and share with those in need.
However, we also have a square between Chiron (the wounded, healer, teacher) and the Sun which can make us waver in our realization of how much work is ahead of us. The sheer impact and volume of what will need to be done and how much effort and self-control it will take … seems daunting.
Some may wonder if they will be able to do it.
Others know that there is but one choice.

We face levels of vulnerability that we may not have seen coming and it can make us waver in making a choice.
However, we will still have to go forward. Too many are counting on us.
There are insecurities that are to now be faced and a stronger conviction is going to be required as a new purpose for our life begins to unfold in front of us.

There are many places where we are asking to soften and allow this new reality to become a part of who we are now.

Truth allows a new type of freedom. While it will not look like the old way, it will be a way that will support us in seeing that we are a part of a bigger whole and we can no longer keep ourselves so separate.

Venus will leave Capricorn and go into Aquarius activating certain social situations into taking action on our behalf.
When we move from a place of fairness and allow our current needs to become new expressions of humility and generosity, it supports seeing beyond our bubble and into the softening of our heart and the acceptance of help.
