Today is the number 9.

The Number 9 gives some sex appeal to our external presentation.
What is sexy?
What is sexy … is presence. A person who is fully here … right now. Vulnerability is also what is attractive. Someone that you can feel into their heart. A person who is comfortable enough in their own skin in a way that they are less shielded, less defensive, and easier to engage through conversation.

It is the inappropriate ways that people push and engage that cause us to put up our shields because we feel less safe.

This number is primarily associated with the feminine and it is the feminine principles in our world that are actively being attacked on a multitude of levels.

I see the societies that are thriving on more well-rounded levels, and it is also clear that they are making a choice to support the feminine. They allow that creative principle to flow freely into their reality. And those societies thrive, have wealth, and more peaceful co-existence.

It is also interesting to notice those countries and governments that suppress the feminine. When they do that in caustic and terrible ways, it seems to create societies that struggle, are at war, and do not support the education of girls, or give them avenues to succeed or thrive.
Such places suppress and try to control the creative principle in their reality and their societies seem backwards and dysfunctional because they lack honesty and integrity.
Notice where we sit in the middle of that.

Notice the trend that some are attempting to manifest.

And know that all of us need to learn to fight back for the rights of all women.

Astrology for Today

As we are sleeping … the Moon moves into Capricorn and will square the Sun in Libra. We are also in the First Quarter of the Moon. You might have noticed that it is pretty dark outside at night and the Moon looks like a sliver of silver in the sky.
This energy gives off a feeling that we need to do something. In the thin light there are actions that need to be taken and choices that need to be made.
What we emotionally want and what we materially want are at odds. There is a type of pressure and tension that can be coming out through our dreams.
Seems something in the ethers is compelling us to do things very differently.

It will be interesting to see if this can ignite a more global movement towards creating a better world for everyone. We will see.

Mercury is finally beginning its forward motion and so … if it feels a bit off while things shift … you will not be alone.
Hopefully this retrograde has deepened our thoughts and made us take a hard look at the habits and patterns in our work and interactions with others.
As it moves forward, it will shift out of Virgo and into Libra on the 10^th. That is the moment when what has seemed so stuck will finally get the much-needed grease to get those wheels turning.
Slowly we will work our way out of the communication snafus and upsets that have been plaguing us for the last month or so. But take your time. There is no need to fix things instantly. Many need time to calm down before engaging back into touchy subjects.
Saturn and Venus will minorly square and that adds to those anxious feelings and the uncertainty that is making many of us feel concerned about a world that seems to be spinning out of control.
