Then we can add the 1 + 8 to get the number 9.

Today is the number 9. There are always deeper mysteries to explore. The more one questions and does not blindly obey … the more we embrace our wildness and learn to listen to that gut instinct.
The feminine aspect of God talks to us in our gut. This is at the heart of the number 9 day. She warns when the energies are off.
She hints and whispers at choices, actions, and certain people.
She is that sudden thought that comes in but is unfamiliar and a bit startling. But the answer she gives … makes other things instantly make sense. 
Let the subtle things today invade your senses. Smell the air and feel the wind and sunlight on your skin.
Use these senses to become environmentally conscious and do things that give meaning to your very existence.

Never be hurt by the insensitivity of the world. It has always been so … and it serves a purpose to inspire more compassion. Reach beyond comfort and into places that are new.
Know that stressful situations are designed to help us discover what we have been hiding from.
And just know that all great things are always hidden in dark places.

Astrology for Today

We should be back to work after the holiday celebrations.
This evening the Moon will move from particular and detailed Virgo into fair-minded Libra. We will be listening more to our heart this evening and that will balance out the chaotic energies of the weekend.
As we are sleeping Mars will move into Taurus and right after that Mercury will go into Cancer. Such a sextile is bound to give us a boost of energy. We will seem happier and full of ideas.

Today observe but recognize that more needs to be understood before fully committing. Things can feel a bit too busy but channeled properly, it can help us get a lot done.

Mars prods Taurus until the 20^th of August. There is a strong need to claim what is ours and to make sure everyone and everything we care about has some security going forward.

Taurus wants to stay the course and Mars wants to “get on with it!” We are finally looking into the future and we have to recognize that the long game does not look so good. And is looking worse and worse as each day passes.

Emotions are not completely content and the feeling of being pulled backward is going to cause huge shifts in the near future.
