1 + 8 = 9

Today, this number 9 heralds the ending of something and the potential beginning of something else.
Clearly, we are at the end of this year and the beginning of a new year. But look deeper than the obvious.
Notice what is inside of you that is being released and surrendered up to the ethers so then we are lighter and can have the space inside and outside to try something new. Just remember to put all that potential towards the greater good.
Today, is a good day to begin to put your New Year’s Resolutions together. What if instead of wishing for losing 20 pounds … we instead decide to become wiser and more compassionate? What if our goal would be to learn to understand others and to do something about those that are struggling? What if we decided to freely give of our wisdom to those that need it and are open to receive it?
My resolution is to show respect to all those I encounter on my path. My wish is to give them tools to help them along their way, but I also know that it is impossible to do those steps for them.
Today, have a soft heart and a strong determination to embrace change. The best way to face all storms is to face directly into them. That way the difficulties end more quickly, and we can get to the good stuff sooner.
