In numerology, the Number 8 pulls us deeper into what makes us tick and what our life purpose is in this lifetime. All of us are on a quest of self-discovery. Each of us tries to make sense out of the difficult passages in our lives.

Too often, we try to pretend those moments do not happen or we try to lessen the importance of difficult moments. But what we should be doing is embracing the raw honesty of such moments. Allow them to show us where we might have left parts of ourselves behind.
Difficult transits of time are there to remind us that we do not need to stay in places that are stuck, miserable, and a trap. That we need change to thrive and to grow.
We need such moments to claim ourselves and our needs over the needs of others. We need to remember that we too have value and that today might be that moment to step back from habitual patterns that have gotten us in this predicament and instead embrace a change. Because this might be the moment that can begin a journey of healing.
But in that healing, we must learn to have a deeper appreciation of our own journey.
