Astrology for July 2023

This month starts us off with a Full Moon in Capricorn on July 3^rd.  This aspect illuminates what we are still trying to come to grips with as we are in the last degrees of Pluto (the planet of death, rebirth, transformation and change) also being in Capricorn.
Seems we need a bright spotlight on something that is hiding in the shadows. Some things just cannot be ignored any longer. We need to take responsibility for our health, well-being, and our lives. There are many things that used to seem very solid that now seem flimsy and unable to bear the brunt of the current forces of change hitting us. We are in for a rude awakening if we continue to resist the truth staring us in the face.
July 17^th, there is a New Moon in Cancer and that helps us look to our family for support because they are our foundation, and we need those who love us and that we trust … in order to figure out how to lay a very new foundation that will carry us forward.
Problem is that the foundation is not built on the ground but in the Aquarian Air. We will need to make things that can fly in stable patterns and that can move from land, to sea, to air, and back.
Honor those that have stuck with us for the long haul and remember that friends that have lasted a lifetime are worth their weight in gold.
This New Moon is opposing Pluto, and just know that fears become larger than life. This causes there to be a strong tendency to over-commit. Expect to find a new round of challenges that will suddenly appear right in front of us.
Know that the universe is not trying to make us crazy, just more aware that the old reality has crumbled, and we will be in a powerful rebuilding phase for the next 20 years.
I know that sounds daunting but if we realize that we all have been in a type of psychological war, then the angst, that we feel is because we have been actively traumatized by those in power who want us weak and afraid.
They believed we would be easier to control that way.
No matter what, realize that the “fruit punch” they offered was spiked with poison and now we must take full responsibility for eradicating that poison from our body, mind, spirit, emotions, and soul.
And such a thing takes time.
Also on July 17^th, the North Node will go into Aries and the South Node will go into Libra. This dynamic duo will be there until January 11, 2025. This is a major shift in our psyche, and it will force us to look at the co-dependent patterns that we are still clinging to … in relationship. Partnership requires a give and take. While that give and take fluctuates, and at times will feel unbalanced, we have to work to allow a new balance to be sought after and fought for.
Otherwise, relationships will crumble, as the one holding everything up, will begin to collapse under the pressure. Seems some things will need to be spoken and new levels of independence will need to be manifested to keep things from collapsing.
These shifting Nodes (Aries/Libra) make us address the parts inside us that intend to find liberation through heroic means and intend to define who we are now with a ruthless determination to be freed from the shackles of past karmic trauma.
I expect this to ignite a few major, global events that will show the conflicts that have been seething below the surface for too long. Under this aspect, those conflicts will break through the surface of our consciousness, not unlike a volcanic flow of lava as it breaks open the ground so that it can flow to the ocean.
What will emerge from that very hot lava will be great leaders, heroes, and visionaries that are going to ignite a global willingness to fight for a better world and future.
The South Node in Libra wants peace and better social dynamics. It requires us to move to create a world that allows for justice and fair play.
We will see those that are wearing the masks of dogma with the intention to bind the hands of the weak and how they use the voice of an authoritative inquisitor to break the backs of the poor.
And it will just not be okay, any longer.
We will begin to see that the patterns and intentions of Pluto in Capricorn were to bleed hope from the people and instill widespread corruption.
Pluto in Capricorn clearly wanted to cause society to become addicted to fear and create looping, endless mazes with no escape.
An Aries North Node wants and demands that we restore honor. To do that … it will actively inflame conflict, cause cataclysms, and spread forms of devastation.
Each of us will have to look at where we have willingly played the victim and avoided the destructive truths that some accepted as facts that were designed to intentionally cause harm.
When masses have been suppressed, and life force energy was restricted to the point of global suffering, the only way at times to break out is to assert that internal power and shatter the mental prisons that have chained us and kept us down.
Do not get into petty feuds with petty tyrants.
Make a choice that is noble and worthy of the effort.
Do something that is not just for yourself but for others.
We are entering into a time when we will have to go with our guts instincts and move from a place of fearlessness and courage. When we understand that we are fighting for peace and to bring about a better balance that is where we will find a power within that is willing to do what it takes.
July 22^nd Jupiter will semi-square with Neptune. Be aware that hope that is easily found may not be the one that is holding the most honor and respect. Be careful in giving one’s faith in others until they have proven that they serve a greater good rather than their own personal agenda.
Venus decides to go retrograde on the 22^nd, in Leo. It will stay in this position till September 3^rd.  It is time to commit to a better and more balanced financial budget.
Things are not going to be easy or so smooth. Seems all things have some sort of twist that forces us to adjust. Past relationships could come back around once again.
Look to see what needs to be said and what needs to be forgiven.
This aspect can create a need to play in some rather unorthodox ways, but that type of interaction will not go deep. Best to not lay everything on the line till after September 3^rd. We cannot see ourselves clearly or what we really need.
And we cannot see others clearly either.
Best to not make a big decision till the end of the year.
And finally, on July 23^rd, Chiron will go in reverse. It will do this till the day after Christmas. Just remember, that the treasure we are seeking is a type of mental healing and clarity. Such things are not found out in the world or in others. They are only found within.
