Today is the number 8. Batten down the hatches and get ready for an emotional storm. The number 8 requires you to have a lot of ballast in your boat. A big wave is coming and you will need to stay centered as you get hit with those big waves of change. The universe is not trying to drown your reality but it is testing you to navigate the deeper and more tumultuous waters that life is showing you. It is important to allow the emotions to move through you and your life. Denial is only going to make it worse. The metaphor is that you always have to turn into the storm. Trying to skirt the big issues that are up right now are likely to flip that boat of yours and will make the storm longer rather than shorter. It is important to move through the challenges by being brave enough to face all challenges. Shortly into the day, Neptune stations retrograde. Neptune will be retrograde until November 18th. The station casts a veil over your affairs, and it can be difficult to see things clearly now. However, the retrograde cycle itself suggests a period of taking in, receptiveness, and some indecisiveness. It can be a time of feeling in limbo but it can also be a period of inner discovery. The Moon continues to transit the sign of Aries until 10:17 AM, when it enters Taurus. Emotions settle a little, but you can continue to be a little moody or sensitive. The Sun and Venus are in challenging aspect with Chiron today, as differences between one another seem to loom larger than similarities. You could too easily follow others’ leads due to self-doubt; fear of asserting your own desires or in an effort to please them. Alternatively, you might go to great lengths to prove ourselves or assert your individuality when a better approach would be to recognize your feelings of vulnerability that may be stirred by people or circumstances.

The moments where you felt damaged and raked over the coals did not stop you from flying high. Yes, your confidence might be a bit rattled and your ego took a hit but your spirit and soul have more power than you can imagine. You are a force of nature learning how to harness that power with conscious clarity. You are only given as much power as you can actually consciously direct in any moment. The storms in life are designed to allow you to see that you can move with the flow of life rather than you ego. What you think is power is actually usually ego. True power is about flowing with the shifts and tidal changes of life and learning how to read the signs and allow the energy that is outside of you align with the power inside of you. Together they become an unstoppable force. It is not about pushing it is about using all the forces of energy that are available to you at any given moment and harmonizing that flow into a united front of cosmic love. You can do it. Don’t be afraid of the storms. Feel into that flow and become one with the greater whole and you will find your center and place in the world.
