Numerology/Astrology for 10/11/19
10/11/19 is the number 6. I understand why some need spiritual books to tell them again and again, to do the right thing, the kind thing, the compassionate thing, and to help those suffering and in need. Learning to really pay attention to those that are really suffering is painful to the soul. It is easier to pay attention to our own wants and needs. It hurts to recognize the level of suffering that others can inflict (for no good reason) on others. That is what makes some people so internalized. But the only way to make that suffering stop or at least minimize, is for us to notice it, be appalled by it, and because it hurts us so deeply, to finally do something about it. That is the basis of spirituality. To become conscious and aware enough to be able to step outside our own needs and wants and learn to share with other from a place of unconditional love. It is not about giving what we want to give but giving what another actually needs. All souls need hope. All souls need to know that they have value. All souls need help from time to time. Societies cannot grow and they will not stand the test of time, if they do not care for those in their midst that are considered less than.

Astrology Today
The square between the Moon in sensitive and intuitive Pisces to Jupiter in Sagittarius continues to stir up problems. It will make some want to take things to an extreme. I find most extremes are a reaction to a series of choices that are not of the highest caliber. There are continued conflicts and disappointments. Treachery continues to be revealed. It is unpleasant to say the least.
The Moon sextiles Pluto in Capricorn. While this is an adventurous and travel oriented aspect, it will also bring up emotions that need to be karmically addressed.
As you are falling asleep the Moon will move into Aries close to midnight. So know that tomorrow, you are going to feel highly energetic and confident. Decisions come in a force for change and any movement. You are inspired with that powerful mind of your and you will find that it is perhaps the moment to make a big shift.
You will be noticing those that are evasive of all conflict. You will be disgusted by those that do not want to confront and stand for anything.
We are moving towards a Mars-Uranus quincunx, so right now you may be noticing that you feel temporarily drained of energy, restless, impatient, and attempting to figure out what is wrong (inside and out). You will need to get in touch with the changes that are calling to you. It may make you feel tense and worried.

Quote
Never abandon.
Never shame.
Never betray.
These are the core wounds
that humanity inflicts on others.
They are the source of all suffering.
They are the wounds that perpetuate
war, chaos, and great loss.

I listened to this report on NPR yesterday about that 4 out of 5 people would prefer to live rurally rather than in the cities. I moved to the country in 2010. In all honesty, I did not really know what I was doing, I just felt compelled to do it for many reasons. Some of them my own personal choices that I realized were from a place that no longer served me or others. Some of them an intuitive guidance. Some of those choices and reasons made no logical sense at all.
But when you get a full body “Yes”, you just do it.
Living in the country is wonderful, magical, beautiful, slower, peaceful, quiet, and empowering. But in making such a choice you leave certain, easy conveniences of city life behind.
In a small town, choices become more limited, such as restaurants. The variety of great food choices are not available, stores are far away and do not always carry what you need or want.
I have learned a whole new level of patience.
Things just take a lot more time. Nothing gets done quickly and the costs are much, much higher than in the city. So you end up doing a lot of things yourself that you had never attempted to do before.
Thank goodness for YouTube videos on how to do things. They have been very helpful.
I have learned a type of self-reliance that is powerful and profound. I have learned how to take my time and not rush.
In the country, you learn that rushing is for the idiots. The land and nature has its own pace and you have to blend with that tempo. Nature does not care about man’s need to do something quickly or the ego to do it “right now”. You learn to look, figure out a problem, make a list of what you need, go to town and search for that. Often you cannot find what you are looking for so you go to the internet and order something there. Which then takes a week to ten days to get. Then you finally begin the project. But for the week that you are waiting, you are preparing the area to get things done.
I have learned that I am the restaurant and to get very creative if I want different flavors or styles of food. Again, thank goodness for recipes and videos online for different cooking types and styles. I have learned how much I can do and how little I really need others to do certain things.
In cities the hustle and bustle makes you feel as if you need the expertise of others to get things done. And while that is a convenience that I love, it is also not always necessary. There is so much that I can actually do that I never knew I could do. And that is very empowering.
Don’t get me wrong, there are many things that are so big that I know I need others to help. But it has been a good thing for me to notice how many things I was always able to do but never felt I had the time to stop and figure them out.
So, here is to country living. I find I am calmer. I walk more slowly and enjoy the nature around me. I take my time and don’t feel rushed anymore. I watch others in the chaotic patterns that I used to do with wonder and no interest to go back to that. I believe that I am healthier, more grounded, much more patient, and willing to learn and figure things out. All of those are really great choices and places to be. And I like myself more and more in the process. It is hard to not be authentic in a natural world. It is impossible to maintain any ego in such a place. Any attempt to do so, slaps you down and makes you recognize that you are not really in charge anyway.
