Numerology/Astrology for 10/27/20

If you add the 1 + 0 + 2 + 7 + 2 + 0 + 2 + 0 = 14.

We are going into the dark days and this is the time for the celebrations of death and the coming of winter. At this time of the year the earth pulls its leaves and grasses back into the earth where they can rest and reconnect to that vital life force that is our Mother Earth. Too often we use and abuse this beautiful planet. What can you do right now to assist in supporting this fabulous world that has given us life? I personally donate to an organization that plants trees all around the world. So much is being destroyed by man’s greed and insensitivity. I find that you have to do something consistently to give back.
Take the initiative and make a decision to do something today. Find an organization that touches your heart in a deeply personal way. Then do something small each month to help. You will be amazed at over time the tremendous shifts that can happen. And at the same time remember to not use toxic substances for your garden and yard. All the insects are essential also.

When humanity recognizes the consciousness that is given to all life and honors that gift … as it was intended, then we can create a world of even greater magic, majesty and wonder.

Astrology Today
On Tuesday evening, from opposite ends of the Libra, Venus enters Libra as it is moving forward. And Mercury enters Libra moving retrograde. This can improve your communications in relationships. This is also good for balancing your financial budget. Something that each of us need right now to find the right places to spend and save. On one level, you want balanced logic and on the other level you want spontaneous fun and enjoyment.

Just know that sarcasm right now is not going to be easy to swallow if it is coming your way. People that are being sarcastic are often hurt and angry and in avoidance of that inner pain. And some are mentally clever enough to be sarcastic. Sarcasm has the intention to cause hurt with humor. It is a form of malicious cruelty from a person who does not want to see themselves as such.

Stay focused. Say clearly what you are feeling minus the sarcasm. If someone hurts you … say they hurt you. It makes navigating the complicated waters of emotion easier if things are more honest.

Mercury is retrograde and moves into Libra and will be in Libra till November 10th. Fortunately, the Mercury retrograde will end on November 3rd. Know that decisions are going to be hard till it goes direct. Mercury right now wants to be more aligned with truth and justice.

Many things are being thought through … one … more time. Do not idealize the past. See it with the clear crisp eyes of presence.

Venus wants to use as much charm and care as she can to attract in something new that is accommodating and more in alignment with compromise.

Things need to be done in ways that support righteousness and truth. More and more aggressive and inappropriate behavior manifests and it grates deeply on our soul for the next few weeks. Offensiveness is no longer something to be tolerated. It is something that needs to be shunned and altered permanently.

Find something to express your emotions that is beautiful and caring. There is too much hate in the world. It is time for the hearts to lead. It is time for the feminine creative ways that promote and support life to have their day in the sun.

Quote
Listen to all things
with a discerning ear.
Listen to more than the words.
Listen to the agenda
that is driving those words.
Listen to the mind that can
construct those words for an
intended cause, response, and action.
Listen to the mind that is
not in touch with the heart.
Listen to the mind that twists things
around to make distractions
its form of control.
Listen…really listen….that is
how you will finally see
past the obvious.

There is a great meditation in the book, “Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain”. I am pretty sure it is in that book. Having read it over 30 plus years ago, I could be wrong but in the book there is a meditation that you stand in the center of your mind, inside your corpus collusum, which is the connection between your right and left hemisphere. You walk to the left side and see a door. You knock on the door and it opens to a scientist standing there with inside words and numbers are flying around. You ask that scientist to come with you to the other side. Together you go to the other side and this door is ornate with colors and textures. You knock on this door and an artist opens the door. Inside that door are colors, music, creative ideas and dreams. You ask the scientist and the artist to change sides. And then you watch as pulses of light connect your right and left sides of your brain. Those pulses move faster and faster until it is like a highway of information pulsing back and forth.

I loved this meditation and did it frequently in my 20’s. I believe it helped me create a stronger connection between my conscious mind and my non-conscious dream mind. Having those two sides work together rather than separately is important in a society where we actively train our left brain but do not teach us how to balance that with the right brain.
Now, let’s modify that meditation above a tad. Let’s assume that both sides are operating and conversing in a more balanced way.
Imagine you are standing in the center between the two sides.
In front of you is doorway and behind you another doorway. Step forward through the door and you will see space and time flowing and merging in an ongoing dance of gravity, sound, and magnetism. The panorama is vast and endless. The connection to the wisdom of the universe is right there if you could but listen.
Now, step back through that doorway back into the hallways between the right and left hemisphere.
Then step through the doorway behind you. Now, you see the vast expanses of earthly existence, mountains, vistas, valleys, oceans, and the lush complicated world and sounds of life on earth.
Hear the noise of life.
Hear the noise of your own mind.
Begin to see that listening to the noise within your own mind is deafening but the noise of nature is more quiet and has the potential to connect you to something vaster and more in alignment with truth. Because it is connected to the other door.
Now, try to feel how that listening to the silence of nature could be understood as the doorway connecting those two vast worlds. The world of the divine and the world of the living. After all, there are truths that your mind cannot comprehend but your heart can hear.

Recognize that there is a difference between listening and hearing.

How often have you heard someone say, “I HEAR YOU!” But they are not really listening are they?

Listening is an active, deliberate activity that requires you to be fully present. You can hear someone and not really be fully with them. Anyone can hear a loud sound without any effort or intention. But you have to really listen to decide what that sound actually is.

It is an exercise in Mindfulness to listen in a way that brings a greater awareness. When you Mindfully Listen you will discover what someone is really trying to say. You will hear the feelings that are hidden behind the surface ego and façade. And you will hear the desire to connect to someone …. Anyone. And you will discover something about yourself that you previously did not know.
Listening requires you to not wander off in thought.
Mindful listening requires you to be fully embodied in the moment. When you Mindfully listen you can feel a physical impact from what you hear. Your body responds to what is below the words. Sensations arise in response to an energetic exchange.

When you listen this way you can discover things that have been hidden from view and locked away. Your Mindful Listening enable them to be released.
In Buddhism there is something called, “The Twilight Language”. It is the whisperings that are overlooked by the demands of the mind and ego.
There is a famous phrase that I do not know the author, but it says, “We have two ears and one mouth, so we can listen more than we speak.”
