Numerology/Astrology for 11/13/18
11/13/18 is the number 8. The number 8 is one that I have explored personally for my entire life. It is interesting to me that as a Leo born in the 8th Month, (which determines your karma for this life) that mine is to explore the Universal Spiritual Laws of Cause and Effect. It is also related to the North Node of the Moon in astrology. And that makes so much sense with my life. It is as if there are huge signs pointing in my mind to notice each person’s positions in the grid of karma. What works and flows well for them karmically and where they are still caught in the karmic wheel of their life. How the choices that each of us make are choices based on past life experiences and how we tend to repeat those patterns again and again, looking for an answer that never seems to give us what we expect. Then getting confused as to why we cannot seem to manifest what our mind and ego want, in the way we want it. When that happens, it is clearly a pattern where you do not understand the Universal Laws of Cause and Effect. If you do not get something that you expect then it is highly likely that you do not see where your pattern does not fit into the pattern of Universal Law. Just because you want it does not mean that you signed up for that in this lifetime. Often, we want to repeat patterns from the past that we enjoyed, but again, that is possibly not what you agreed to this round. Not everyone can be rich, even if you want it really, really badly. Not everyone can be famous. Often talent is cultivated over lifetimes of effort and toil. Great things are learned and earned. But in our quick fix culture, so many do not what to put the effort in that such magnificent gifts require. In this lifetime, I like to this of these moments are preparation for the next life. Patience cultivated now, transfers into another time. Effort to learn things now, gives us a step up in the next life. All wisdom is cumulative. And the good deeds you do now will come back to you in other times when you most desperately need them. But negative things also follow you. Arrogance and the feeling that you are superior to another, leads to the consequence of having a life where others put you down, as you put others down now. All the great religions warn of such behaviors. I find it interesting that those that tout the good books as justification for their own righteousness are often the ones not doing the patterns expressed in those books. I realize as a child in Catholic school and church that those people need to be there and repeat those rules in creeds and prayers over and over again, because they really do not get it in their body. It is one thing to know the words. It is quite another to let those words live through you and to make choices that you know are inclusive rather than exclusive. It is only when you go against the Universal Laws that you feel great pain and sorrow. Consequences are the way the Divine shows you that you have fallen off the path. That is how sadness breaks down the barriers that cause suffering. Right now, this world is suffering. Not just the humans are suffering. It takes owning up to the reality that you have created and then having the courage to choose peace and love over superiority and condescending behavior for effective change to happen in your own karmic suffering.

Astrology Today
The Moon in Capricorn breaks the day down into the bite sized pieces that need to be done and in an order that is constructive rather than destructive. While that is good and the way to go, it can feel a bit repetitive and boring. Trust me, boring is a good thing when a world has broken out of logic and into the chaotic uncertainty that we presently find ourselves. The Moon does shift mid-morning into the progressive sign of Aquarius, kicking us forward in a new way and giving a bit of rebellious fight to the present conundrum.
The Aquarius Moon forms a sextile to Jupiter in Sagittarius and your enthusiasm and idealism increases. Use is while you have it. It gives you some much needed juice to break out of a pattern that has felt like it was inhibiting your mind and ability to see beyond the suffering of this moment.
The Sun forms a semi-square to Saturn this morning and this can point to some level of a reality check. Expect to feel frustrated and discouraged. Sometimes the universe needs to hit those that want to live in a “Lolly-Pop” and get them to see that in this moment, idealism is not going to help shift the present into what will ultimately work for all. Such moments you are not grateful as much as you are eventually going to be happy that you learned the lesson at a much later date. You are going to have to wait for the rewards that eventually come to all those who do the work and put in the effort.

Sometimes you meet someone in a moment and that moment is one that impacts you greatly and helps create a shift in your energy field that can be from subtle to great. I found out today 11/12/18 that one of those such people in my life from over 15 years ago died. I am grateful for social media in this regard as it helps us connect with those that may come and go but stay in our hearts for a long time. I remember seeing him at a hot springs and talking, laughing, and having a great connection of energy that is one of those timeless moments that when you reflect on, always bring a smile to your face. It is a reminder that even the young that you think have lots of time, may not… It is the reminder to always see the preciousness in every moment and to fully engage those that you have that connection with, knowing that those moments pass and may never come back again but through the interaction you are forever changed by the presence of someone’s authentic heart.
