Numerology/Astrology for 1/1/15

Today we are in the day of Radiance or the number 10. So this is a day that completely aligns with the Mars Opposition to Jupiter, which will give you a strong desire to expand, to grow, and to do and know more. If you feel limited, restricted or if we don’t know where to begin, this can serve to frustrate you to the point to moving beyond your fear and extend into the unknown. This Mars opposition can cause impatience. What you want to do may be in conflict with what is actually possible. You may get fired up over opposing viewpoints, and you may need to adjust your plan of action. Feelings of competition can motivate you to push yourself a little harder. The trick will be to do so in moderation. The Moon is in Taurus until 12:10 PM EST, when it enters Gemini, increasing your curiosity and desire to reach out and make connections. There is a feeling of wanting to “Kick some *ss”. (If you get the hint.) Besides, it is a new year. When you combine 2 + 0 + 1 + 5 = 8. Now in general I like to think of even years as being more even but the fact that we start off this year with the fiery intensity of the number 10 and the Mars Opposition to Jupiter I think that is an indication that there is going to be a tremendous amount of change in the next year. We will have the Grand Cardinal Cross ending this year. Though it might take until the middle of the summer to really feel it. We have the last square between Uranus in Aries and Pluto in Capricorn on March 16/17. And we have the energetic push of Saturn in Sagittarius for most of the year. Then add in the Jupiter in Leo (even though it is retrograde till April) and lets just say that “Movement” is going to be the key word for 2015. So today, get organized and create a plan. My suggestion is to get those taxes handled and don’t wait for anything till the last minute. When a lot of energy is moving forward it is going to be really difficult to suddenly say, “Wait, I am not quite ready.” So think ahead. Stay on top of your game. Be responsible and lets make it a fabulous year for acceleration and change. If you are on top of things then it will not feel overwhelming. If you drag your feet, this could be tough.

I picked this quote because I would say the general consensus of flow since 2008 and the beginning of the downturn for most has been one of a version of “Hell”. 2015 is the year where we are like Inanna coming out of the underworld, forever changed but much more compassionate and in alignment with something beyond our limited self. You have grown and are significantly stronger now. You are also much more content with what is and what you have rather than going after some fantasy that you believed would make you happy. You recognize where you have been in illusion and there is a deeper inner honesty within your core and there is a potential to step beyond stuff and into essence.
