Numerology/Astrology for 11/3/18

11/3/18 is the number 7. This number 7 is Saturn. Saturn is the planet of effort and struggle. Life is hard at times and everyone gets that to some degree. But there are also moments when the decisions and choices of others make our life more challenging. Life is challenging enough without having external sources actively working to make things hard. Conflict causes suffering. It is that simple. While none of us will always get what we want, and some conflicts are designed to help us reach beyond complacency. There are those people out there that take things that are working and intentionally want to tear them down for their own dysfunctional game of power and pain. That is what we seem to have happening at the moment. Remember, you are not a victim unless you fall into the trap that has been set out in front of you. You fall into the trap because of unconsciousness, lack of experience, wisdom or judgment, innocence, or belief in the illusion that they have set out in front of you as the lure to jump in. Choice is about learning intellectually where and if you wish to allow another to manipulate you into something. Your personal awareness is essential to making clear choices. You have to be fully awake to not be manipulated by others’ projections and fears. When you have spiritual core strength the psychic override that another can have on you diminishes or goes completely away. You see them for what they are, what they are expressing, and what their underlying intention is. The awakened are protected from the spiritual manipulation of those that have learned the magical power of words to enslave the minds and actions of others. But this takes effort and you have to struggle against that force to determine if you can stand alone against the onslaught of dysfunction that is designed to confuse and mentally overwhelm. It is simple. Self-righteousness does not allow for compromise. Pride narrows your ability to perceive. Resentment shows a closed mind. And someone who cannot admit that they were wrong is a person who never matured beyond the wounded child mind and damage they experienced from their youth and family.

Astrology Today

The Moon continues in the mutable sign of Virgo bringing us into the focus to fix problems and find solutions. While you might want, what you want, when you want it. And while that may not pan out exactly the way you expected, know that you will learn a lot by your choices and actions and watching the choices and actions of others. In reality people will only take so much from you before they recognize what you are really about and where your focus really is. That reality is sinking in. You can only fool the people some of the time. It is ridiculous to expect selfish people to shift quickly. Some may never change. And that is their decisions and karma to navigate. Walking away from those that again and again prove to you that their priorities do not include you, is a part of life. In challenging times such as these, you have to know who you can depend upon. Consistency is where you learn to trust. Inconsistency from others, is a sign that you are just not that important to them.

There is a semi-square between Mercury and Pluto and this can generate tension, mental distress, and anxiety. Mistrust is heightened, and our skeptical side has now been trained to be on high alert. Which is probably a good thing in these times. Use your mental ability to get to the bottom of things. Do your best to not obsess. Probably at this point you have done all you can do, and obsessing is not to help or change the outcome. Choices and decisions have been made. We will all see soon how it is going to sort itself out.

Venus quincunx Chiron and you might be feeling insecure around your position and status with others. It makes for an awkward moment when you do not feel as if you can allow your true self out. Difficult decisions are up in a big way. Major changes are coming. Learning to let go gracefully and willingly is going to be the key to success as you move forward.

Quotes from Sojourner Truth

Sojourner Truth was an African-American abolitionist and women’s rights activist. Truth was born into slavery in Swartekill, Ulster County, New York, but escaped with her infant daughter to freedom in 1826.

“Truth is powerful and it prevails.”

“If women want any rights more than they’s got, why don’t they just take them, and not be talking about it.”

“I am not going to die, I’m going home like a shooting star.”

“It is the mind that makes the body.”

“Religion without humanity is very poor human stuff.”

“I have as much muscle as any man, and can do as much work as any man. I have plowed and reaped and husked and chopped and mowed, and can any man do more than that?”

~Sojourner Truth~

Named Isabella Baumfree, it says a great deal about Sojourner that she called herself Truth. She spoke it. An African-American abolitionist and women’s rights activist, Truth was born into slavery in New York, sold at auction with a flock of sheep for $100 in 1806, escaping with her baby daughter in 1826. She bravely won her son back through the courts and was the first black woman to win a case against a white man. At the Ohio Women’s Rights Convention in Ohio, she sensationally struck at the heart of gender inequality asking: ‘And how came Jesus into the world? Through God who created him and the woman who bore him. Man, where was your part?’
