Numerology/Astrology for 12/27/18

12/27/18 is the number 5. Nature and Nurture symbolizes the number 5. Nature speaks to us with the voice of silence. It is in the cultivation of quiet, that wisdom is revealed. That interconnection between all of life becomes obvious. Those that believe they are alone, only believe that because they hear only their own thoughts and mind. There are endless conversations happening in life all around you. But you need the find a place of peace and inner silence to listen and to hear what is obvious to all of the rest of life. Only man separates himself from that which gave him life. Only man believes in this omnipotence and holds a place of egoic self-importance when the rest of nature is speaking in the universal tongue of silence. Only man believes that humanity holds the key to knowledge because of our ability to speak. All things speak. All living things have a voice. But all living things speak in their own language not the limited language of humanity. Life speaks loudest through the feeling body. Life speaks loudest in the whispers, the wind, the songs that celebrate every day the miracle of the sun rising and setting. The miracles of the weather changing. The consciousness cops (such as the ravens and crows) in the world that let all the other life in the area know what is happening. If you feel alone the limitation is in your ability to listen. If you cannot hear, you have given power to the illusions that allow you to feel separate. There is more out there than is in your own mind. There are endless pathways to discover wisdom and connection. Loneliness is a luxury of an ego with too much time to wallow in self-pity. Nature is constantly calling you back to the dance of life, connection, and wonder. It is up to you to take that gift and connect back in so that you too can give something back. It is the way of the number 5.

Astrology Today

The Moon is in Virgo all day, making us want to “get it done”. Whatever “it” is. Organization and structure are the key to happiness. Knowing where things are alleviates stress and aggravation. It is time to decide to learn new skills, excel at your work, and help others. It is also time to pay attention to your own health and well-being.

Venus and Ceres align in Scorpio in the morning and you may be feeling pleasantly attached to people in your life at the moment. Hearts open in new understanding and it is easier to support others right now because of seeing the bigger cosmic picture of family rather than believing that family is supposed to match all your pictures.

The Virgo Moon is battling as it is in opposition to Neptune and squaring Jupiter and Mercury. The “dreams versus reality” is still the conversation. But the reality always eventually wins.

Quote

“We can reject everything else; religion, ideology, all received wisdom. But we cannot escape the necessity of love and compassion. This, then, is my true religion, my simple father. In this sense, there is no need for temple or church, for mosque or synagogue, no need for complicated philosophy, doctrine, or dogma, Our own heart, our own mind, is the temple. The doctrine is compassion. Love for others and respect for their rights and dignity, not matter who or what they are; ultimately these are all we need.”

We are in a time when I believe it is healthy to get people to honor the truth of our past. Not from a place to make us feel better or worse but from a place of honesty and a recognition that nothing will ever change unless the truth is taught not from the place of making the victor feel vindicated or the looser to be allowed to rewrite the past in their illusion. But from the place of objective understanding. There are places that it has been done. So many Vietnam Vets have gone back to that country and connected to the men that they fought against and hugged and asked for forgiveness. They were not attempting to vindicate their decisions. They were coming from the place that they wanted finally to have peace inside. That requires you to tell the truth. That raw and vulnerable truth that breaks down the victimization of the rules that had to be followed and instead transcend us back to the humanity that was ignored and lost. That humanity can always be recovered but not from the place of continuing the toxic hatred and perpetuation of the language the makes others less than and animals in the eyes of the perpetrators. In war, it is our humanity that is lost. It is our compassion for another life that is suppressed in favor of our righteous choices that are taught and inbred that allow us to make decisions that harm our very soul. War is an atrocity of humanity. It was created by those in power that needed to feel that they could control large areas of land and the people of those lands. And then there are those still in America that play out the Civil War and keep the belief that the “South will rise again!” as they play-act out the battles but in their illusions now the “South” wins the battles again and again, validating their own inability to deal with the reality as they grasp on to an illusion that makes them the winner and the victim all at the same time. Such nonsense needs to be called out because that is the only way that it will actually stop. Truth reveals the ridiculousness of such actions and the pointlessness of playing out what never was and never will be. Perhaps those people still doing such things were actually the players in those wars in past lives and they are stuck in that time loop, endlessly repeating the pattern in an attempt to break through to some sort of clarity and acceptance. In the bigger scope of reality it may make sense but we are not helping others find that peace if we do not point out the absurdity of their actions and the waste of time in such a precious life.
